Nursing Team

Our practice nurses have a range of specialist skills including management of diabetes, asthma and care of patients over 75 years old. They provide immunisations; dressings and a variety of health checks. Appointments can be made at reception.

Our healthcare assistants are experienced in taking blood tests and offer appointments from 08:00. They also provide a comprehensive in-house service for monitoring anti-coagulant treatment. Their role as Healthcare Assistants means they are available to assist the doctors during minor surgery and can carry out various health checks, enabling our practice nurses to have more time to use their specialist skills.

Administration

Practice Management

Our practice manager administers all non-clinical aspects of the practice and works with the whole team to maintain and develop patient services. They will help resolve any problems or complaints you may have, using the practice complaints procedure.

Patient Services

Patient Services provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. The Patient Services Advisors make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Administration Staff

Our administration staff are responsible for all chronic disease and patient registration management.
