Family Planning

All doctors will give advice in Surgery hours. If you need contraception after unprotected intercourse please telephone for advice.

Maternity Services

If you are planning a family, you and your partner may come to see your doctor to ensure that you are both in the best of health possible before conception. Parent classes are run by the midwife in the evening. Antenatal and maternity care is carried out by the midwife and doctors.

Child Care

A drop-in baby clinic is held on Wednesday mornings at The Early Years Centre, Borough Road, Torrington.

Child development checks are an opportunity for you to discuss any problems with the health visitor and doctor. Your child will receive a check-up to monitor their health and development. You will be offered appointments at regular intervals. Please advise the Surgery if you cannot attend.
