Minor Injuries Service

We provide a minor injuries service between 8.30am and 6.00pm. We are, however, closed between 1.15pm and 2pm. If you have an injury during this period, you may visit Torrington Health Centre where an assessment of your condition will be made. Depending on that, you might be offered immediate treatment or asked to return to us at 2pm.

We offer a sit down and wait service for minor injuries such as: cuts, grazes and lacerations, foreign bodies, minor eye injuries, minor head injuries, strains and sprains, wound infections, minor burns and scalds, requests for emergency contraception and other minor injuries.

You should attend A&E with a  more serious injury or where a fracture is suspected.
